Details

The Men's Lucchese Mad Dog Goat Boots Chocolate N1556-R/4 is made of distressed dark brown goat skin.

This boot is shining example of a traditional, western cowboy boot. This Lucchese boot stands 12 inches tall and features a round toe and cowboy heel. The N1556 is hand lasted for a snug fit and constructed to be comfortable right from the start. The two tone neutral stitch pattern complements the vintage style of the boot. Perfect for a day at the ranch or a night out on the town, this boot is about as versatile as they come!

The Men's Lucchese Mad Dog Goat Boots Chocolate N1556-R/4 fit slightly narrow and will have considerable lift in the heel until the leather conforms to the foot.

Like this boot but looking for a different toe style? Check out the N7377 for a square toe or the N1556-5/4 for a snip toe.

The Way a Cowboy Should Be
    Review by JAOon 8/12/2016
I own multiple pairs of Lucchese boots, and these are by far the plainest and most inexpensive of my boots; HOWEVER, Lucchese does not discriminate when it comes to quality, fit, and overall feel of what I consider to be the benchmark of boot craftsmanship.
As someone who has owned multiple brands over the years (some high-end, some not), I can say without doubt that regardless of the type of Lucchese boots you decide to wear (e.g., exotic versus non-exotic) you will receive a quality and fit like no other brand.
While I will admit the exotics are typically more comfortable, even the least expensive Lucchese will please anyone - especially those of us who really value all the aspects a cowboy boot can offer. These are no exception, and I would recommend 100% to anyone who might be reluctant to spend ~$1,000 on a pair of boots.
My suggestion (if it's accessible) is to go to your local boot retailer and simply try a pair on. If you're like me, you'll end up wearing them out of the store after purchasing them.
