  One of the most iconic buildings in the state, and a crown jewel in every Texans’ heart, is the Texas State Capital. Completed in 1888, the Capital was named the 7th largest building in the world at that time. Spanning 2.25 acres of land in the heart of Austin, the iconic building has nearly 400 rooms and over 900 windows.
