LMAC Land & Cattle, LLC, also known as LMAC Ranch, is a cattle ranch in rural Idaho with a heart as big as Texas. Owners Bill Walters and Lisa McMurray have spent years working to turn their vision into reality, with a deep commitment to preserving the western values that have shaped their lives.
Space
For Bill, ranching is in his blood. From a young age, he worked side by side with his grandad, learning the ropes and earning his stripes as a cowboy. His childhood was spent moving cattle through the high mountain meadows of the Colorado Rockies. Under the vast, open skies, nights were spent sleeping on the ground in their bedrolls, exhausted but content after long days in the saddle. Some of Bill's fondest memories are the quiet moments around the campfire, listening to the old cowboys tell their stories — tales of adventure, hard work, and the grit it takes to live life on the land.

The traditions of the western lifestyle run deep in their hearts. There’s something sacred about gathering a herd from the hillsides, telling stories by the warm glow of a fire, long summer days spent working the land, and the quiet bond shared between friends who’ve ridden the same dusty trails. These moments, etched into memory, are the soul of the ranch — a place where history, faith, family, and the spirit of the West come together as one.
Space
From Bill’s management of an 800-head cow/calf operation in the rugged Rockies, and Lisa’s asset and tower management in California, to running a business together in the oil and gas industry in West Texas, Bill and Lisa’s journey has been anything but ordinary. Today, they are bringing their passion for the western lifestyle and extensive business experience together with a pride of ownership that is evident in their stewardship of the LMAC Ranch. Through every step of their journey, their love for the values and lifestyle of the cowboy has always been present, and it's this deep respect for the tradition of preserving the old ways that they now carry forward as they forge a legacy of their own-one they hope will echo through the generations to come.
