A journalism major and world traveler, Sophie is just starting her journey as an adult, but her eye for detail and sense of style are already clear. She was able to look back and relearn some family history from her dad to help design her butterfly inlay boot, but came to realize it came more naturally than she first thought. An honorary member of and part-time model for the Allens Boots Team, she wears her tall boots well.
CHAD ISHAM
A swallow always returns home, so say sailors who have used the swallow design to represent a safe return passage going back to the 18th century. The choice for the swallow on his boot design was intentional. Chad’s home and belongings give you that sense, of a western native who’s sought out beautiful pockets of the globe, but always returned to his home port to compile his history and memory through the items he’s collected.

RUGGED ELEPHANT
An ethically sourced elephant hide is widely regarded as the toughest and most durable material for a pair of cowboy boots, it requires cowboy bona fides to pull it off. No less a tan pair with sky blue and cream stovepipe tops, but no one questioned Chad’s design and it came together just as he knew it would. Completed with a snip toe, a cowboy heel, a vintage-inspired fleur-de-lis top collar, a pair of cream safe-passage swallows and Chad’s brand, the Double Half Diamond, they’re a work of art with a lifetime of stories to back them.

NEW HORSE RANCH
Some customers take some time to deliberate on their custom design, not Sophie. It helped that she could visit her dad’s leather room and play with colors and shapes well before she ever got measured for customs. The butterfly inlay dates back to the 1930s, when Hollywood cowboys were first arriving on the scene and is only fitting that her boots were inspired by the same source as her father at her age. The honey horse ranch color pops modern with a daiquiri kid skin inlay, a pair of boots that start to tell Sophie’s own chapter in her family story.
